On a mountain bike, Cirali will reveal real treasures like the Greco-Roman site of Olympos and, after the effort, you will bask on magnificent sandy beaches. By kayak or aboard a caique, from cove to cove, you will discover splendid ancient cities. Finally, the essential stage of this tour of Lycia, Simena, a citadel accessible only on foot or by boat. Azure blue sea, swimming, hiking, barbecue, turtles… and adventure is on your way!

DAY 1: ANTALYA

Arrival Antalya - Transfer & Installation at the hotel and free time.

DAY 2: ANTALYA - CIRALI

Visit of the old town. Several buildings and places of interest, such as museums or alleys with stone houses or the old port are to be discovered. Departure for Cirali 1h of transport. Installation in the bungalows. Bike rental for two days and ride along the beautiful beaches and swimming. Just before sunset, departure for the eternal flames of the Chimera to appreciate the nightfall around the magical flames (do not forget to take your flashlight for the return trip).

DAY 3: CIRALI

Second day of mountain biking in the Çirali region. Tour of Olympos by bike, about 4km by bike to a cafe where you have to part with your bikes then on foot by the beach to the site of Olympos approx. 300m.

Olympos was an ancient Greek city dating from the 2nd century BC, located in Lycia this site is very important in the ancient history of the region. The city of Olympos had its own currency and was one of the 6 major cities of Lycia. Its greatness continued until the Roman period. In the Middle Ages, the Venetians fortified the city which was abandoned during the 15th century.

DAY 4: CIRALI - UÇAGIZ

Departure for the village of Uçagiz. We embark on a mini-cruise at sea. Departure to Kislebogazi bay. Swimming and diving and lunch on site. Departure to another bay for swimming and diving. At the end of the day, return to Kekova for the night on the deck of the boat. Evening meal in the form of barbecue.

Üçagiz is located on the mainland 1 km from Kaleköy and opposite the island of Kekova. The village has a very small port and the ruins of the ancient city are almost in the village the starting point for beautiful hikes or cruises in very unique boats.

DAY 5: UÇAGIZ - APERLAE -UÇAGIZ

Hike from Uçagiz to the Greco-Roman site of Aperlae. The boat leaves to wait for us in the bay of Aperlae. Departure by boat for another cove to end the day in swimming. Return to Uçagiz for the night on board the boat. Barbecue.

Aperlae: in the 5th century BC. JC, it was the most important city on the Lycian coast. The lower part of the city was submerged following earthquakes, as a half-submerged sarcophagus still attests to this day. It is an ancient site where we find multiple sarcophagi scattered all over the site and a cistern.

DAY 6: UÇAGIZ - GOKKAYA BAY - SIMÉNA - UÇAGIZ

Initiation to kayaking then departure by kayak from Uçagiz bay to the submerged city (3h). End of the kayaking part on return to the beach where the nautical center of Uçagiz is located. Resumption of the boat and departure for another bay for lunch and swimming.

At the end of the afternoon, departure for Gokkaya bay and disembarkation for a magnificent wild hike to Kalé Koy (the citadel), "Simena Greek name". Visit of Siména. Visit of the citadel. Return to Uçagiz and overnight at the hotel.

The village of Siména is very unique of its kind: leaning against the cliff, the city dies in the sea at the bottom of a small bay and a port protected by the island of Kekova. The necropolises of Simena and Kékova date from Roman times. They are essentially made up of sarcophagi. Siména has a medieval fortified castle and an acropolis with a theater that could accommodate 300 people.

DAY 7: UÇAGIZ - ANTALYA

Return to Antalya (3h, 120km). Free time and visit. The historic center, Kaleiçi, is the nicest part of the city of Antalya. Small, lively streets, craft shops and several historic sites and buildings such as the Yivli Mosque, Hadrian's Gate and many other surprising things ... Your hotel is right in the city center and offers the possibility of go out at all hours for a walk.

DAY 8: ANTALYA

Transfer to the airport.

The boat is a traditional Turkish caique with toilets and a changing cabin. The sleeping is done on the upper deck with mattress, blanket and sheets provided.

The upper deck is covered and therefore sheltered from possible rain.

A shower is available to families at the back of the boat to wash off after swimming.

If you prefer a classic bike instead of a mountain bike this is quite possible provided you ask for it at the time of rental.

Where do we sleep?

In a hotel in Antalya, in very comfortable bungalows in Cirali and on the Caique Bridge in Kekova. Bungalows and hotel rooms are equipped with air conditioning.
