Have you ever been to the moon? No ? A magical land in the heart of Turkey. A miracle of nature, volcanic and lunar landscapes, valleys full of rocky chimneys...Breathtaking landscape. Cappadocia is a magical world of chimneys that seem to emerge from fairy tales, cones and stone pillars created by ancient volcanic eruptions, wind and water. More information in the description below.
You will fly from Antalya to this region of magical landscapes, to join a day trip that makes the difference.
Some of the places you will visit include the Kaymakli Underground City and the Goreme Open Air Museum.
The tour begins in Kaymakli, a labyrinthine underground city with several levels of houses carved by the early Christians.
To access it there are about 100 entrances, narrow and sloping, which can be used from some houses in the city.
We will then visit the valley of the pigeons on the way to Pasabaglari.
The monks once lived in Pasabaglari, a valley dotted with hundreds of fairy chimneys.
They create a surreal landscape that stretches towards Göreme.
This valley has churches carved into the rock and decorated with frescoes from the Byzantine period, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
You will have time to discover the Chimneys of the Three Graces before returning to Antalya.
