EAST LYCIAN ROAD

EAST LYCIAN ROAD - 8 DAYS

Day 1 - Transfer from Airport to Antalya Hotel.

Day 2 - Göynük  plateau (17 km 6-7 hours) 

We start our walk at Beydağları Göynük National Park. Than we walk through the pine trees from the southern slope of the Göynük Canyon.  We follow the uphill path and reach Göynük plateau.  (850m)

Day 3  -  Göynük plateau – Gedelme -  Kuzdere  (16km 6-7 hours)

We  start  walking from the Hotel. We walk down to the village of Gedelme by a Path way. After lunch we will visit the Roman Castle,  from the Tractor road we will reach  the view of  whole Kuzdere Valley. After Valley    we drive to the hotel (350m)

Day 4 - Kuzdere Plateau-Cukur Plateau- Beycik (18km 7-8 hours)

Through Kuzdere plateau and the Carsaklı  path way, we arrive to the Cukur plateau. After picnic, we follow the path way with  plane and pine trees. Behind the Tahtalı Mountains we reach  Beycik. For 2 overnights we    drive to Cıralı coast. (Tahtalı Mountains1950m)

Day 5 - Cirali- Olympos antique city-Chimera

We will visit the Olympos antique city. Afternoon we take the time for swimming at Olympos Beach. Late evening we  visit the naturel fire of Chiemera . (335m)

Day 6 - Olympos-Musa Mountain- Adrasan Bay (18 km 6-7 hours)

We start our walking from the ancient city of Olympos. Climing up to the Musa mountain through the impressive Sandalwoods.  After a picnic we walk down to the Adrasan beach. At the end of the walk we give a swimming break at Adrasan bay. (750m)

Day 7 - Adrasan -Gelidonya Lighthouse (20 km 7-8 hours)

After a short transfer we arrive at the walking point. This route is one of the most popular  routes of the Lycian way, due to its view. At the end of the walk, we will see the Gelidonya lighthouse. İt has become the symbol of the Lycian Way. At the end of the walk we give a break in Karaöz. We drive back to Antalya region.

Day 8  -  Antalya Oldcity  and transfer to the Airport .

We will visit the Oldcity  “Kaleiçi”in the morning.Transfer to the Airport

Necessary materials :

Trekking Shoes, 15-25 lt Backpack, Walking Sticks, Raincoat, Sun cream,

Hat, Torch and Swimsuit.

The picnic material will be moved in the backpack every day.
