1- First consultation (online or on site)

The main objective of the initial in-office or remote consultation is to determine the stage of alopecia, the patient's eligibility for hair transplantation, the ideal number of grafts to be transplanted, as well as to assess the costs of hair transplant.

2-Medical file

The patient must complete the medical questionnaire sent by the clinic, and send the results of the blood test (to be done in the patient's country of origin before departure).

After the diagnosis of the results of the analyzes sent to the clinic, the practitioner may or may not agree to an operative appointment. 

If the opinion is favorable, the clinic contacts the patient to complete all the information necessary for the organization of his medical stay.

3-Confirmation and reservation

After a period of reflection, the date of the operation is set according to the availability of the patient and those of the practitioner.

Confirm your appointment: 

After booking the flight, patients send a copy of their ticket to the clinic for confirmation. The clinic sends the patient an appointment confirmation letter with details about the pick-up at the airport.

Generally, the final confirmation of the medical stay is made by sending information concerning the plane ticket and by transferring a percentage (%) fixed by the clinic of the amount of the estimate.

4-Arrival at the airport

If the accommodation package includes airport-hotel transfer, the patient is greeted by an interpreter guide who takes them directly to the clinic or hotel depending on their time of arrival.

5- Preoperative consultation

The day after arrival, a preoperative consultation is scheduled with the practitioner to:

Finalize the details relating to the chosen technique: the intervention, postoperative consequences, advantages, possible complications, etc.);

Assess the general state of health of the patient (also provided by the anesthesiologist);

Retrieve the informed mutual consent contract;

Draw blood for PRP treatment if it is included;

Pay for your intervention.

6- Surgical intervention (FUE or FUT)

FUE technique: Under local anesthesia, the practitioner extracts the follicles from the donor area one by one, then reimplants them in the recipient area (bald or low density).

FUT technique: Under local anesthesia, the practitioner extracts a horizontal strip from the back of the skull, then collects the grafts to reimplant them in the bald or low density area.
