Turkey has made great strides in affording special needs in recent years.
A positive point is the hospitality and adaptability of the Turkish people. They will do their utmost to help travelers with disabilities overcome obstacles whenever possible.
Some Turkish cities know the needs of disabled travelers and can arrange accessible transport, hotel rooms and tours with the right travel agencies.
Here are some details:
The airports
Fortunately, Turkey has built many new airports in recent years, which are designed to modern standards to accommodate travelers with disabilities. The airports of the largest cities (Antalya, Ankara, Bodrum, Dalaman, Istanbul, Izmir) are easily navigable, with jetted bridges, assistants, wide doors, ramps, sidewalks, etc. At smaller airports there probably won't be any jet decks, so disembarkation is via rolled stairs to the aircraft door.
Passengers with a physical disability, but who can support themselves during the flight, may travel alone. However, non-autonomous passengers must be accompanied during the flight. Finally, passengers with mental disabilities must be supervised by an attendant throughout the flight.

Wheelchair accessible airport transfers Airport
The biggest problem faced by people with disabilities is the transportation problem.
From the airport, reached after a long flight, the trip to hotels becomes a nightmare for people in wheelchairs.
Getting on buses and minibuses at the airport becomes torture for wheelchair users.
It is also very difficult to fold the wheelchair and put it in the minibus.
To remove the barrier to travel at major airports in Turkey, we offer a wheelchair accessible airport transfer.
We organize transfers from Antalya and Gazipaşa Alanya airports where wheelchair users can ride without problem.
Safety of people in wheelchairs in the airport transfers that we perform are kept in the forefront. Wheelchair users are strapped to the floor of the vehicle with a special belt.
We also have wheelchair accessible buses and minibuses for a special group of wheelchair users. Let us know how many passengers you are, the characteristics of your group, the number of wheelchair users. We will organize a wheelchair accessible airport transfer according to your needs.
Hotels
Many newer and better hotels have rooms and other facilities designed to be easily accessible, including ramps, lifts / elevators, hallways, public rooms, bedrooms, restrooms, etc. Unfortunately, most older, smaller and cheaper accommodations have challenges such as lack of elevators / elevators, or elevators difficult or impossible to use with a wheelchair, tiny bathrooms, raised thresholds , etc. Check with individual hotels to see if they can meet your needs, or ask one of my recommended travel companies to help.
We list in this space the accessible hotels in the region of Antalya, Kemer, Lara / Kundu, Belek, Side and Alanya

Local transportation
A few plus points here: The modernized transport networks in some big cities (Antalya, Alanya,Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir) are quite well suited for disabled travelers. Most of the bus transport has been designed taking into account European accessibility standards. City buses have seats reserved for disabled passengers.
