Istanbul - Antakya - Cappadocia - Pamukkale - Kusadasi
Day 1: Arrival to Istanbul
Arrival to Istanbul Airport. Transfer to your hotel Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 2: Istanbul
After breakfast today’s a half day tour takes you for visit to Hagia Sophia, Mosque, the Ancient Hippodrome. Afternoon free for leisure. Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 3: Istanbul - Antakya
After breakfast, depature for visit of the Chora Church, which is considered to be one of the most beautiful examples of a Byzantine church. Then proceed to the Suleymaniye Mosque, built in the name of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent by Architect Sinan. Transfer to the airport for the flight to Antakya. After a short flight arrival to Antakya Airport and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Antakya.
Day 4: Antakya – Tarsus – Cappadocia (492 km)
After breakfast, you will visit the Antioch city: Archeological Museum ( which has the second largest collection of Roman mosaics in the World ) and Cave Church of St. Peter. Drive to Tarsus which has long been an important stop for traders. First visit at the city is to the Gate of Cleopatra. Then visit of the Church and Well of St. Paul. Departure for Cappadocia for overnight.
Day 5: Cappadocia
Today’s visits take you to the labyrinthine tunnels of the Underground City of Kaymakli. The tour proceeds to Goreme Open Air Museum, Devrent Valley and Uchisar Castle. Overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 6: Cappadocia – Konya- Pamukkale (640 km)
Breakfast and departure for Pamukkale via Konya. Visits in Konya are Sultanhan and Mausoleum of Mevlana, founder of the Sufi Order, and the Karatay Medresa. Overnight in Pamukkale.
Day 7: Pamukkale – Kusadasi (267 km)
After breakfast, you will visit of Hierapolis famous with it’s Necropolis and Theatre then departure for Laodicea which is one of the Seven Churches of Revelation written about by St. John. Drive to Kusadasi for overnight.
Day 8: Kusadasi
After breakfast, you will visit the Ephesus Ancient City with its Celsius library and massive theatre in which St. Paul preached to the Ephesians. The rest of the day will be reserved for the Basilica of St John and the Virgin Mary’s House. Overnight in Kusadasi.
Day 9: Departure from Izmir
After breakfast, transfer to Izmir Airport for flight to your country.
