Day 01 – Arrive IST/SAW Airport, transfer from airport to hotel. Free Day to Relax & Explore. Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 02 – After breakfast, Full Day Jewish Heritage Tour with lunch. Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 03 – After breakfast, Full Day Ottoman Relics & Byzantium Tour with lunch. Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 04 – After breakfast, Half Day Bosphorus Cruise Tour. Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 05 – After Breakfast, transfer from hotel to airport for your return flight.
Day 01 – Arrival to Istanbul
Upon arrival in Istanbul, the guide will greet you and drive to your hotel. After check-in leisure day to explore the city. Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 02 – Full Day Istanbul Jewish Heritage Tour (Breakfast, Lunch Included)
* Visited Sights: Ashkenazi Synagogue – Ahrida Synagogue – Komando Staircase – Zulfaris Synagogue – Neve Shalom Synagogue
Upon breakfast at the hotel depart for first visiting the place to “Ashkenazi Synagogue” is favored for its imposing facade with three oriental arches and octagonal rosette windows. Inside, the floors are of marble, the lofty blue dome is painted with stars, and the elaborately-worked ark of dark wood blends eastern European and Arabesque styles. “Ahrida Synagogue” is in the Balat district, and is the oldest synagogue of Istanbul from the 1400s.
The pulpit in the shape of Noahs Ark is exceptional here. “Komando Staircase” is a graceful curved double staircase built in the nineteenth century on the order of the Kamondos, the Jewish community`s most prosperous family. “Zulfaris Synagogue” is dating from 1671 and is presently being restored as a museum of Turkish Jewish life. We wander through the daily life of picturesque Galata District viewing workshops, groceries, housewives hanging out laundry, children playing in the narrow streets, or making their way to and from school. After the tour, transfer back to the hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 03 – Half Day Bosphorus Cruise Tour (Breakfast, Lunch Included)
* Visited Sights: Bosphorus Region – Rumeli Fortress – Spice Bazaar
Pick up from your city center hotel. After breakfast, enjoy a full-day tour of Bosphorus Cruise on Gurtour Travel’s boat, through the waterway separating the two continents, Europe and Asia with a possibility to photograph the unique beauties of the Bosphorus. You can also see Rumeli Fortress (from the boat – no interior visit.) Before the Bosphorus Tour have a visit to famous Spice Bazaar (Egyptian Bazaar), mystical smells of different aromas of various spices.
Day 04 – Full Day Ottoman Relics & Byzantium Tour (Breakfast, Lunch Included)
* Visited Sights: The Old city “Sultanahmet” – Topkapi Palace – Grand Bazaar – Blue Mosque – Hagia Sophia – Hippodrome – Obelisk of Theodosius – German Fountain of Wilhelm II – Serpentine Column
After breakfast enjoy a full-day tour of “Sultan Ahmet Center”, the heart of the “Old City” from where the Byzantine and Ottoman Empires were ruled.Start with a visit to the Hagia Sophia, one of the greatest marvels of architecture.
Then continue with the majestic Blue Mosque, famous with it’s blue İznik tiles. See the historical Hippodrome of ancient times, Serpentine Column, Obelisk of Theodosius and German Fountain of Wilhelm II are the monuments decorating the Hippodrome.After lunch, proceed with Grand Covered Bazaar, the most attractive shopping center and the biggest “souk” in the world . Final visit to Topkapı Palace, residence of Ottoman Sultans exhibiting imperial treasury.After tour transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 05 – Departure Day (Breakfast Included)
Upon breakfast at the hotel, check out and according to your flight time drive to Airport. End of the Service.
