This tour is designed perfectly for those who are true Jews in heart or for whom with great interest for Judaism and the temples/destinations from Istanbul to Cappadocia, all the way to Aegean Region to include Pamukkale for a full Jewish themed experience.

Short Programme:

Day 1 – Arrival Day in Istanbul

Day 4 – Istanbul to Cappadocia by Domestic flight
Day 5 – Cappadocia Tour
Day 6 – Cappadocia to Izmir by fly – Kusadasi
Day 7 – Ephesus Tour
Day 8 – Pamukkale Tour
Day 9 – Izmir Jewish Tour
Day 10 – Flight from Izmir to Istanbul – End of Tour 

Day 1 – Arrival Day in Istanbul
Upon arrival in Istanbul and transfer from airport to the hotel. Check in to the hotel. Rest of the day and overnight in Istanbul.

Day 2 – Istanbul Jewish Synagogue Tour

Breakfast at hotel. Morning visit to a Jewish neighborhood, Galata. You will see the Galata tower built by the Genoese in 1303. Visit the local synagogues, Neve Shalom and the Askenazy Synagogue. Continue to visit the Hippodrome, a 3rd century site, where chariots raced during the Roman period. Visit the Blue Mosque, famous for its blue tiles and six minarets. Visit St. Sophia, a world heritage site built in the 6th century. Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 3 – Istanbul Jewish Tour

Breakfast at the hotel. Free in the morning. You will be picked up from the hotel at 13:30 pm and start to visit the Topkapi Palace, its priceless collection of jewels, and the Grand Covered Bazaar Overnight in Istanbul.

Day 4 – Istanbul to Cappadocia by Domestic flight

Early  morning pick up from the hotel and transfer to Istanbul airport. Morning flight to Kayseri and drive to Cappadocia to see the rock-cut churches and monasteries. Drive also to Pasabag and fairy chimneys and rock formations. Continue to visit the spectacular Cappadocian valleys and villages such as Uchisar, Goreme and Ortahisar. Check into hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia.

Day 5 – Cappadocia Tour

Breakfast at the hotel. Pick up from the hotel and Drive to the Underground City. Visit this amazing complex with its fascinating tunnels, dwellings and storage rooms. After Underground City, continue to Esentepe, Kizil Cukur, Catalkaya and Cavusin Village. Return back to hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia.

Day 6 – Flight from Cappadocia to Izmir – Kusadasi

Breakfast & Check out from the hotel. Pick up and transfer to airport and domestic flight to Izmir via Istanbul. Upon arrival to Izmir and transfer from Izmir airport to your hotel in Kusadasi. The rest of the day is yours to explore Kusadasi. Overnight in Kusadasi.

Day 7 – Ephesus Tour

Breakfast at Hotel. Pick up from the hotel for to visit Ephesus. Spend a full Day exploring the jewel of Turkey ‘s ancient past, the ruins of Ephesus.

Archaeological excavations begun in 1869 have uncovered well-preserved main streets, squares, temples and theaters. Visit the Great Amphitheater, and stroll down the Marble Way to the magnificent Library of Celcus. Our last stop will be House of Virgin Mary. Return back to hotel. Overnight in Kusadasi.

Day 8 – Kusadasi – Pamukkale Tour

Breakfast at the hotel. Pick up from the hotel at 08:00 am. We depart for daily Pamukkale. We shall visit the calcium terraces of Pamukkale (cotton castle) and the ruins of Hierapolis, then walk around this natural phenomenon and have the option of lying in the waters of the natural springs. Return back to hotel. Overnight in Kusadasi.

Day 9 – Izmir Jewish Tour

Breakfast & Check out from the hotel. Drive to Izmir. This morning visit the Senora Synagogue (if possible) and Havra Street in Izmir where Jewish immigrants settled in 1492. 

You’ll continue on to Sardis, where you’ll visit one of the important historical cities of western Anatolia, the capital of the Lydian State. Sardis has rich architectural works reflecting its magnificent past. 

You’ll see the Temple of Artemis, the mint house where coins were made, the gold purifying center, shops, gymnasium and the synagogue which was once one of the largest in history, built first in the 4th century BC and rebuilt in the 3rd century AC to its present Day size after being destroyed by an earthquake. 

Check into hotel in Izmir. Overnight in Izmir.

Day 10 – Flight from Izmir to Istanbul

Breakfast & Check out from the hotel. Transfer to Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport and flight to Istanbul. Arrival to Istanbul. It is end of  10 days Turkey Jewish Heritage tour.

If you like to swim in The Ancient Pool which is also called Cleopatra Thermal Pool they charge extra entrance fee

You are kindly requested to present yourself at the pick up point 15 minutes prior the pre advised pick up time

Remember to take sunscreen & a hat if you’re not fond of direct sunlight as there is minimal shade available
